2nd International Calligraphy Festival in Algiers: 24 countries will take part

Artists from 24 countries will participate, along with national artists, on the 2nd International Calligraphy Festival to be held in Algiers from 28 May to 4 June 2009, according to Mr. Mustapha Belkahla, commissioner of the festival.

• "In addition to the calligraphers of the Arab countries, there will be among us artists from Belgium, China, the United States and France," said Belkahla highlighting "the importance of this event which will bring together a hundred of domestic and foreign calligraphers.
