- The artist highly contributed, with a constant willingness and great humility, to making known Imzad, a musical style peculiar to the region of Ahaggar, around the world, to ensure its conservation, its development and its perpetuation.
- To convey this prestigious heritage, to which it had always attach a great importance, Tarzagh Benomar staged between 2002 and 2005 workshops, in her own house, to provide young girls with trainings in Imzad.
- "Only a woman who really masters Imzad can perform such tunes as it is not an easy job. She is famous throughout the Ahaggar, in Ajjer and also in Adrar of the Iforas," the source added.
