Cinema: The Price of Freedom

Algiers- The movie "price of liberty" written by Hocine Nader and directed by Youcef Bouchouchi has been screened Tuesday in ABC cinema in a special session for national press.

• The sequences of the film that tells the story of Algeria during the French colonial rule were shot in 2007 in different regions of the country like Boussaada, Bejaia, the Aures and the prison of El Harrach.

• The 1h-25min feature film talks about the early days of the French invasion (1830) recounting the life of the Algerian people during this period especially in the steppe regions.
