Tartuffe in Constantine

"Tartuffe", the famous play by Moliere, is the latest production of the regional theatre of Constantine (431-km east of Algiers) and attracted as usual a large audience on Tuesday.

• The play has been put on on several stages around the world and it seems that it has lost none of its punch when performed in the eastern province of Algeria. "Tartuffe", as adapted by the TRC, met a great success as there were roars of laughter and bursts of applause all through the show.
