Morocco: Warda at the 'Mawazine' music festival

The Algerian singer Warda, Stevie Wonder and Kylie Minogue are among the artists who will perform at the festival ...Mawazine... (rhythm) in Rabat from 15 to 23 May, organizers said Tuesday.

•     Diversity of sounds and rhythms is the watchword of this new edition, says the president of the festival, Mounir Majidi.
  
      Latin music will be represented by the Brazilians Sergio Mendes and Tania Maria.
  
      The program includes music fusing rhythms and melodies of Moroccan and foreign artists.
  
      The concerts will be given in different sites of the Moroccan capital, including the ancient Roman city Shellah, near ‘Bouregreg River’ and Mohammed V National Theatre
  
      The Stevie Wonder concert will close the festival on Saturday, May 23
