Algiers - the Arabic daily Echourouk has symbolically launched its TV channel Tuesday, the first private satellite channel in Algeria, as part of the programme of reforms announced by the president on the audiovisual

  • The official start of the program is scheduled for late February or early March next, according to the boss of daily Anis M. Fodil. "Meanwhile, we will broadcast test programs such as documentaries," he added.
