Algiers: 5th International Finance Forum

The fifth Finance International Forum (FIF) got underway Tuesday in Algiers with the participation of several experts and officials from economic and financial sectors.

• Organized by the Forum of Algerian Competences in Switzerland (FCAS) in collaboration with the Association of Banks and Financial Establishments (ABEF) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Switzerland/Algeria, this annual financial crossroads is placed under the key theme the "international financial crisis and Algeria’s place in the world economic context."

• A lecture of Finance Minister Karim Djoudi, entitled "Algeria, facing the international financial crisis," and another by Minister of Energy and Mines Chakib Khelil, on the "international financial crisis and energy crisis, which strategy and which prospects for Algeria'' are planned in this two-day meeting.
