Wall Street goes down, the market review its ruling on bank

The New York Stock Exchange fell Friday at midday, the market revise its decision on the bank values after the reorganization of the Citigroup bank and the support provided by the Federal Government to ...Bank of America.... The Dow Jones lost 0.81 % and the Nasdaq 0.94%.

  •     Around 17H20 GMT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) gave up 66.35 points to 8146.14 points and the Nasdaq index, mainly technological 14.15 points to 1497.69 points.

        The broader Standard index & Poor's 500 fell by 1.11% (9.37 points) to 834.37 points.

        Thursday, Wall Street had finished higher after erasing heavy losses earlier in the day as a result of the collapse of Citigroup and Bank of America. The Dow Jones gained 0.15% and the Nasdaq 1.49%.
