Quality control: First certification delivered

Algiers- The first certification has been delivered Monday by the Algerian Organism of Certification (Algerac) to the Algerian Company of inspection and control of industrial works (GERAL).

• The awarding of this certificate, which consists on a certificate of competence to GERAL to operate compliance assessment and monitoring missions, was complementary to "a process of implementation of quality systems capable of breaking Algeria’s dependence to foreign firms of certification and control," said Minister of Industry and Investment Promotion, Hamid Temmar, at the document awarding ceremony.

• Referring to the program of industrial enterprises upgrade, the minister said that the establishment and strengthening of quality control systems are an important element in the implementation of this program through their contribution in the technology and know-how transfer
