ALGIERS- Algeria's exports in the first eight months of the current year have reached 47.14 billion dollars against 39.86 billion dollars for the same period of the previous year (2010), an increase of 18, 26%, according to a report of the Algerian Customs.

  • Imports meanwhile, are set at 31.17 billion dollars against 26.34 for the period of 2010 (an increase of 18.34%), according to the Customs’ National Centre for Informatics and Statistics.
  • The trade surplus rise to 15.97 billion dollars against 13.52 for the same period (up 18%)
