Cordoba Conference: A two-state solution

Foreign Ministers of Western Mediterranean, brought together in Spain...s Cordoba as part of 5+5 Dialogue underlined the "emergency" of the application without delay the two-state solution, Israel and Palestinian state which must be "viable and sovereign."

• In a final declaration of the 7th ministerial conference of 5+5, an official forum gathering the five countries of Mediterranean northern bank (Portugal, Spain, Italy, France and Malta) and the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) countries (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania), the ministers launched a call for the "substantial and credible" revival of negotiations to reach a "global, just and lasting peace" in the Middle East.
