Norwegian lawyers file war crimes complaint against Israel

Norwegian lawyers have officially filed Wednesday in Oslo a complaint against former Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and nine other top officials accusing them of "war crimes" against the Palestinian population of the Ghaza Strip during Israeli aggression from 27 December to 25 January.

• "We received the complaint. We're going to study and evaluate it before possibly transferring it to the police," said General Prosecutor Siri Frigaard. Six lawyers decided on Tuesday to lodge a complaint against Ehud Olmert, former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, Defence Minister Ehud Barak and seven other senior Israeli army officers.
