A survivor tells the carnage in Bordj Bouareridj

Algeria, Bordj Bouareridj - I witnessed the massacre. I think the number of victims exceeds 40. Today Friday at noon, the gendarmes of Mansoura continue to bring more victims to the hospital.

• There is only one road between the regions of ‘Mansoura’ and ‘El-Kesir.’ This means that if the road is cut, you can no longer turn back. Terrorists blew up a truck on the bridge. Six of Toyota vehicles, carrying Chinese engineers working on the section of the east-west highway, in the department of Bordj Bouareridj, escorted by gendarmes, were surprised by the attacking hordes of terrorists who used machine-guns.
  
  The road is caught between two mountains with dense forests, which helped the terrorists to hide and act with ease in their criminal work. All occupants of the six vehicles have been killed in addition to some civilian people who tried to flee the hell of the battle.
  
  When the gendarmes of Mansoura heard gunshots and the information given by survivors who managed to flee, they were dispatched to the scene on foot to help their colleagues. There, the second carnage was committed. The terrorists were 40, while the gendarmes of Mansoura were only fifteen and were on foot. Six of them were cowardly killed. The terrorists then fled in vehicles belonging to citizens, towards the ‘Oued Messissi’ forest.
  
  An hour later, the army forces arrived on the scene. The road was then released and the body transported to the hospital in Bordj Bouareridj.
