First case of swine flu in Iran

TEHRAN, A first case of A/H1N1 virus of swine influenza was detected in Iran, announced Monday the Ministry of Health, quoted by the official Irna agency.

  •     According to the Ministry of Health, this is a 16 year old young man who lives in the United States and who arrived last week in Tehran with his family.

        “On his arrival, he showed signs of infection and after examination it was found that he had the virus,” said the Ministry of Health.
