TUNIS - A third case of influenza A (H1N1) was detected in Tunisia on a 38-year-old woman returning from a trip in Saudi Arabia, announced Wednesday evening the state television TV-7.

  •     “The infected person is a Tunisian arrived Tuesday from Saudi Arabia, where she was on a professional mission,” said television mentioning the National Observatory for the new and emerging diseases.

Nasopharyngeal samples have confirmed an attack of influenza A (H1N1), said this source, adding that the infected person and her family are subject of preventive and curative measures.

The woman, whose identity was not revealed, was put under medical surveillance in her home and her health is “good”, the television said.

This is the third case of influenza A (H1N1) recorded in Tunisia after the announcement last Monday of the first two cases found on two students arrived from the United States.

Country tourism weakened by the crisis, Tunisia has developed a device for monitoring and epidemiological surveillance since the outbreak of swine influenza A (H1N1) pandemic is declared by the World Health Organization.

Since the isolated cases are curable, why the panic and the fear to travel, tourism oumra and hajj involved, some media announced cancellation of mass travel due to lack of information.
It's worth it to take the necessary precaution but not to cancel travel plans!!!!!!
