Morocco: seven new cases of swine influenza detected
RABAT- Seven new cases of swine influenza have been confirmed in Morocco, bringing to 78 the number of people infected with the virus in the Kingdom, announced Monday in Rabat, the Ministry of Health.
- The new cases involve Moroccan nationals who came to Morocco from France and Great Britain.
According to the Department of Health, 77 people have already left the hospital in perfect health and the patient hospitalized “is not in serious condition," according to the same source.
The Moroccan government announced on July 24 an additional 400 million Dirhams (about 36 million Euros) to fund a program of prevention against swine flu."
In May, an initial allocation of 850 million Dirhams (77 million Euros) was made available to Health.
