Swine flu: China launches its vaccination program

- China launched on Monday its program of vaccination against influenza H1N1 in Peking to immunize students to participate in the October 1 celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic, Health authorities said.

•     "On September 21, Beijing took the lead in China by beginning vaccination against influenza H1N1," said a statement from the Health Bureau of the capital on its website.
  
      The Ministry of Health plans to immunize 65 million people, i.e. 5% of the Chinese population by the end of the year.
