JAKARTA - A baby of 8.7 kg at birth has become an attraction in Indonesia, where dozens of people rushing to try to see the child who "continues to ask for food", according to his mother.

Ani said " never imagined being pregnant of such a baby", who measured 62 cm at birth, and thought "waiting for twins."
Doctors believe that the extraordinary weight of Muhammad may be linked to diabetes affecting the mother, resulting in an overdose of glucose to the baby.
Ani, who has two children born of normal size, testified that she suffered from fatigue and breathing problems during her pregnancy." At the 8th month, it became very painful. I often cried when I sit or stand for the movement prevented me from breathing.
Muhammad is the biggest baby ever born in Indonesia (235 million inhabitants). The precedent was established in 2007 with a weight of 6.9 kilograms, according to the hospital.
