The tallest man in the world is a Turk

VIENNA - The tallest man in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records, a Turki of 2.46 meters, has attracted thousands of spectators Sunday at Vienna, at a "record day" held in the famous Prater Park .

•     Not only Sultan Kösel, a farmer aged 27, is the greatest man in the world, but the measurements of his hands (27.5 cm) and feet (36.5 cm) are also records.
  
      Object of curiosity for the tens of thousands of visitors of Prater, Sultan Kösel good-naturedly shook thousands of hands and signed hundreds of autographs, "I do not consider myself a star, but as a champion because I am the tallest," he said.
  
      According to him, "the benefits of his large size outweigh the disadvantages," among which he cited in particular "the difficulty of finding appropriate clothing size and the acrobatics needed to take place in a taxi.
