Beginning of the Charm-el-Sheikh summit

- An international summit of European and Arab leaders to consolidate the ceasefire in the Ghaza Strip began Sunday in Charm-el-Sheikh on the Red Sea.

•     This meeting is co-chaired by the Egyptian President Hosni Moubarak and the French Nicolas Sarkozy, at the first day of the fragile ceasefire declared by Israel after 22 days a of bloody operation.
