Yemen: an inmate of Al-Qaeda kills two hospital guards

SANAA - A detained member of Al-Qaeda hospitalized in Sana'a killed two of his five guards during an escape attempt Sunday, said medical sources.
- The incident took place at the Republic Hospital in Sana'a, where the Islamist militant had been transferred from prison to treatment, they added without specifying the identity of the prisoner.
The man managed to disarm and kill two of the five officers assigned to his care, the source said. The three other officers responded and a fire broke out in the hospital room, forcing the prisoner to surrender, added the same source. - Ennaharonline/ M. O.
