USA: an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 shakes Los Angeles
WASHINGTON - An earthquake measuring 4.4 rocked Tuesday morning the region of Los Angeles, said the American Institute of Geophysics (USGS), but no damage or casualties were immediately reported.
- The earthquake occurred at 4:04 a.m. local time (11:04 GMT) at a depth of 18 km and the epicenter was located 2 miles from Pico Rivera, a suburb southeast of Los Angeles, according to the website of 'USGS.
