Teheran ready to exchange 1,200 kg of uranium in Iran
TEHRAN - Iran is ready to share at once and on its territory 1200 kilograms of uranium enriched to 3.5% for 120 kg of fuel at 20%, said Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Organization of Iran Atomic Energy Agency, quoted Wednesday by the daily Javan.
- "We are ready to supply all the uranium but only if the exchange takes place in Iran and simultaneously," said Salehi.
- "We are ready to give 1200 kilos (uranium enriched to 3.5%) to simultaneously receive 120 kilos of fuel enriched to 20%" for the research reactor in Tehran, he added.
