Libya: Egypt unable to repatriate its nationals

CAIRO, Egypt encounter difficulties in repatriating its nationals, about 1.5 million, located in Libya shaken by a revolt against the regime, said Tuesday the Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
- Aboul Gheit told reporters after a meeting with the head of European diplomacy Ashton in Cairo that his ministry had asked the Army to provide military aircraft to bring home the Egyptians.
"Our main problem now is to get permission to land planes, and this is a huge problem. There are about 1.5 million Egyptians in Libya," he said.
