Ben Laden accuses Arab countries of complicity with Israel
The audio recording of Ben Laden accused Arab countries of complicity with Israel, issued Saturday, adds nothing new, said a senior U.S. counter-terrorism, speaking under cover of anonymity.
- In the message broadcast by the channel El Jazeera of Qatar, the head of Al-Qaeda accuses “certain Arab leaders” who have been “complicit with the Christian-Zionist alliance” in the recent conflict Ghaza.
“Al-Qaeda discusses these topics fairly regularly and at this stage it does not seem that there is anything new,” said this person because it was “repeated themes by Al Qaeda.”
He also cautioned against “not too much into the timing of this message is broadcast”, stressing that these messages do not generally coincide with the attacks.
The previous message from the chief of Al-Qaeda was on January 14, less than one week of the inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama, he warned against opening new fronts in the holy war of Al-Qaeda against Western interests.
The latest Benn Laden's statements illustrate the violent ideology Al Qaeda has reacted in his turn a senior State Department who wishes to remain anonymous.
“The message of Al Qaeda is still on the side of murder and destruction,” he told the press. “It is an indisputable fact that they kill without distinction women, children, both Muslims and non Muslims,” he said.
