Fighting resumed in Bani Walid
Fighting resumed Sunday between pro-CNT forces and the loyalist forces of the Colonel, in Beni Walid, a stronghold of ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi, after a lull of a week, decided by the fighters to allow civilians to leave but also to reorganize.

- Fighting resumed and fighters of the CNT, according to a leader of the Northern Front, advanced from the two sides, the northern and southern fronts. The attack takes place in the heavy artillery, according to a commander of the city of Zaouia.
- Beni Walid, where are about 1,500 soldiers of Colonel Gaddafi, was besieged by the forces of the National Transitional Council (CNT), after a suspension of hostilities for a week.
