USA: the greenhouse gases endanger public health
The U.S. Agency for Environmental Protection (EPA) has now decided to consider the greenhouse gases, mainly carbon dioxide (CO2), dangerous for public health, according to sources close to the agency.
- This decision marks an important evolution of the United States on the issue of global warming that signals the intent of the federal authorities to take regulatory measures to limit emissions of greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.
Joe Mendelson, one of the National Wildlife Federation, an organization of nature, “the decision of the EPA changed the historical and political climate that will affect the United States and the world”.
