One armed terrorist was sentenced to death in absentia
A fugitive armed terrorist was sentenced in absentia to death Tuesday by the Court of Criminal of Boumerdes 50 km east of Algiers for terrorism acts, according to the Algerian agency APS.
- Hasbalaoui Khaled, 30, from Dellys near Boumerdes, was charged for establishing a terrorist organization targeting state security, national unity and territorial integrity by the spread of terror among the population and creating a climate of insecurity, according to APS.
In that case, the court exonerated A. Abdelouahab the charge of membership in an armed terrorist group which he knew the object and possession of products used for the manufacture of explosives, according to APS.
Several Terrorists were sentenced recently by the same court to prison or to death in absentia for various acts of terrorism.
