Berriane incidents: Ali Tounsi on a working visit

National Police Director General Ali Tounsi has carried out a working visit Tuesday to Berriane locality (Ghardaia province, 600-km south of Algiers) as part of the assessment mission of the situation resulting from the incidents witnessed in the southern locality.

• Ali Tounsi met behind closed doors members of the inquiry committee, set up following the mediation mission carried out on 20 April by Minister for Local Assemblies Daho Ould Kablia, so as to reconcile the groups of young rivals, who were behind the incidents.
