Abdennour Boukhemkhem elected Secretary General of the FNJA

The works of the executive congress of the National Federation of Algerian Journalists (FNJA) ended on Thursday evening in Algiers, by the election of Abdennour Boukhemkhem as Secretary General of the FNJA.

• Works have also been sanctioned by the election of 11 members of the national office, including three journalist women and 71 members representing the various organs of public and private.

• Speaking at the occasion, the Secretary General of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), Abdelmadjid Sidi Said, welcomed the establishment of the federation that will allow journalists to better defend their profession and its ethics in a organized and coordinated way.
