Algeria condemns the Zionists... crimes against humanity
The Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia expressed, in Algiers on Sunday, the "strong condemnation of Algeria" for "crimes against humanity that Israel makes" against the population of the Gaza Strip, reported the Algerian agency APS.
- "I wish, on behalf of the government, to express our strongest condemnation of crimes against humanity that Israel continues for more than a week against the people of Gaza," said Ouyahia, according to APS, in a speech on the occasion of the installation of the National Commission for the preparation and organization of the 2009 presidential election.
At least 485 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive on December 27 against the Gaza Strip.
Mr. Ouyahia also reiterated the unwavering solidarity of Algeria with the Palestinian people. - Ennahar/ M. Oudina
