Thermographic cameras to keep watch the swine flu pandemic

ALGIERS- All the ports, airports and coach stations will be equipped with thermographic cameras to combat swine flu virus, announced Saturday General Manager of National Public Health Institute (INSP) Mohamed Kamel Kellou.

• During an information and training meeting organized by the National Police in coordination with health ministry, Kellou said that the national commission of the fight against "H1N1" virus will meet later in order to determine the number of cameras to install in the abovementioned sites.

• These equipments can not detect the disease but signal any suspect case, he pointed out, recalling that all necessary measures have been taken to guarantee appropriate vaccine.
