Bouteflika in Libya for AU summit

ALGIERS- President Abdelaziz Bouteflika will be Monday in Sirte (Libya) for the 13th session of the Conference of the African Union (AU) announced Sunday the Algerian presidency in a statement.
- “Investing in agriculture to achieve economic growth and food security is the main theme of this summit from 1 to 3 July, reads the text.
The Heads of State and Government of the AU will also discuss peace issue on the African continent and the transformation of the authority of the AU, it added.
President Bouteflika will also participate in the summits of the NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa's Development) and the African Peer Review mechanism (APRM) scheduled Tuesday in Sirte, according to the same source.
