Violent clashes in the streets of Algiers

The angry demonstrations, held after Friday...s prayer in the capital of Algeria have turned into violence and dozens of people were injured. According to sources, dozens of policemen were also injured, some severely injured by stones.

• The demonstrators were prevented from reaching the US embassy situated in Bachir El Ibrahimi street in the capital.
  According to the latest information, clashes still continue in several areas where teenagers are trying to take advantage of the opportunity to break.
