'Le Temps : Time', a new French daily newspaper in Algeria
A new daily newspaper in french, named "Le Temps", made his appearance Monday at newsstands in Algeria with "the modest claim to build an already rich media landscape," wrote the editor in a letter to readers in the first number.
- Le Tepms is "a daily general, modern, with emphasis of current information, such as Gaza today or about sports tomorrow," said to the AFP Djamel Kaouane, the director of publication.
"But it will also be relevant to local subjects," he added Kaouane.
He clarified that the time was "apolitical", "without prejudice" and do not support any party: "Our priority is information," he said.

Property of the industrial Ali Haddad, PGD of the construction enterprise ETRHB, Le Temps has been printed in 40,000 copies for its first issue in 24 pages decorated with many photos.
