Skikda: three armed terrorists killed

ALGIERS- Three armed terrorists were killed in an ambush by the Algerian army between Skikda and Jijel, about 400 km east of Algiers, several newspapers reported Saturday.

•     The armed group has been located Thursday evening near the village of Zekranat in the west of the province of Skikda and three of its members died in the shootout that erupted.
  
      The army had dressed the ambush on the basis of information.
  
      The security forces were conducting for several weeks large-scale operations across the country and particularly in the east, where groups claiming Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb took refuge in places with difficult access and conduct specific actions.
