  • One of the victims is a nine-year-old girl, detected through a thermal camera at the airport of Tindouf (2000km southwest of Algiers), upon her arrival from Spain, where she spent her holiday, the ministry underlined in a communiqué. The second is a woman aged 54, residing in Setif (300km east of Algiers), the statement added, pointing out that the affected woman is the mother of a young man that was previously confirmed to have swine flu.
