Imported cement to be delivered very shortly

Mostaganem (Algeria)Housing and Urban Planning Minister Noureddine Moussa announced Monday in Mostaganem (355 km west of Algiers) that the first part of imported cement, out of a total of the planned one million tonnes, will be delivered as soon as next week.

• On the sidelines of a working visit to the province, the minister stressed that the rise in cement price is due to the high consumption of the material especially during the period between April and September. It is also the outcome of urban improvement works and the launch of housing projects in various provinces, he added.
