Swine flu: two new cases detected in Algiers

Algiers-Two cases of influenza (H1N1) have been recorded today, according to a communiqué of the Ministry of Health and Hospital Reform, by the services of the laboratory of Pasteur Institute in Algiers, bringing the number of cases confirmed to 43.

  • This concerns, according to the same source, two nationals who had returned from abroad. Both patients are under medical supervision and respond positively to the treatment.

    The number of cases recorded to date is 43 cases and no deaths or serious cases have been registered.

    The Department of Health advises citizens to avoid contact with people who show symptoms of influenza. A hotline (3030) is put at the service of citizens.
