President Bouteflika in New York

Algiers- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has headed for New York on Tuesday, accompanied by a large delegation to take part in the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Bouteflika will partake during his stay in New York, in the opening session of the General Assembly and the high-level dialogue on climate change, convened by the UN secretary general.  Many activities related to the economic, social issues and the sustainable development, particularly in Africa are scheduled on the sidelines of the General Assembly proceedings, in addition to the summit of the group of 15 (G15). The 64th session will be also an occasion for the Head of State to discuss with his foreign counterparts bilateral and international issues of common interest.
