Boumerdes: a soldier killed in the explosion of a bomb in Timizert

Algiers- A soldier was killed in the explosion of a roadside bomb on Friday night in the area of « Idjelouahen », south of Timizert (Boumerdes).

• According to security sources, the bomb would have been buried by the terrorist groups that activate in the region between Boumerdes and Tizi Ouzou. The savage hordes use homemade bombs which they buried all along the boundaries between the two departments to prevent the Army forces to continue their search operations.
  
  The bomb exploded at the passage of the soldier killing him instantly. Moreover, the Army forces immediately closed the perimeter and defused several bombs that had been buried in the same region.
