Medelci: Caracas Summit shows that South-South cooperation is a reality
NEW YORK (United Nations)- Africa-South America Summit, as part of South-South cooperation, reflects the political and economic influence of Southern countries at the international level, Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci said on Friday in New York.
- The South-South cooperation, launched twenty years ago, is not a slogan, Medelci told the press in the wake of the meeting between President Bouteflika and his Iranian counterpart Ahmadinedjad.
- "Caracas Summit, which is to be held within the framework of South-South cooperation, shows that this cooperation is a reality that reflects the political and economic influence of Southern countries," the minister said.
