Ghaza: Cease-fire for a week

- Hamas and the other Palestinian groups in Ghaza decided, at a meeting held in Damascus onSunday, to observe a cease-fire for a week, told AFP a spokesman, the Islamic Jihad in Ghaza.

•     ‘The Palestinian groups met in Damascus and will shortly announce a cease-fire of the Palestinian factions for a week to open crossing points and let humanitarian aid to the area’, said Daoud Shihab.
  
      ‘During this period, the resistance is ready to respond to all Egyptian, Turkish, Syrian and Arab efforts, which allow for a full withdrawal of Israeli forces and the full opening of the crossing points of Ghaza’, he added.
