Housing:: New measures in the Finance Act 2010

Algiers- Additional steps will be introduced in next year’s draft Finance Act for making citizens financially solvent to purchase a house, Housing and Urban Development Minister Noureddine Moussa said on Tuesday.

• "The 2010 Finance Act, currently under discussion, will consolidate what is positive, and there will definitely be other additional measures for making citizens solvent to purchase a house," he told the national radio. He also recalled that the 2009 additional Finance Act has granted a subsidization of interest rates for civil servants interested in purchasing or building a house.
