Progressive withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Ghaza strip

- The Israeli army began Sunday a « gradual withdrawal » from the Ghaza strip after the beginning of the ceasefire after 22 days of offensive against Hamas, announced a spokeswoman of the army.

•     ‘I can confirm that a gradual withdrawal of the army from Ghaza’, told the AFP a military spokeswoman.
  
      Earlier, witnesses had reported that the Israeli army had left key positions in and around the town of Ghaza, redeploying close to the border with Israel.
