Algeria: 39 billion USD trade surplus in 2008

- The trade balance of Algeria registered a trade surplus of 39.07 billion dollars in 2008, up 20.12% in compared to 2007, announced Tuesday the Customs... National Center for Informatics and Statistics (CNIS).

•     In 2007, Algeria’s trade surplus was 32.53 billion dollars, according to the CNIS.
  
      Algeria has exported 78.23 billion dollars in 2008 with 98% of hydrocarbons, up 30.04% compared to 2007, and imported 39.15 billion dollars (41.71 +%) said the CNIS, according to the APS agency.
