Repentants: "The real Jihad was that of November 54”

Algiers- Ali Boudoumia, 14, from the region of Ouled Aissa, in the province of Boumerdes talks about November 1, date of the outbreak of the war of liberation. "I am happy for my country either as repented or as a citizen", before adding "I am proud of my country."

• Ali joined the terrorist groups in 1997 and surrendered to security services in 2004. For him, the first date of November has always been an important event for him. "Here and there in the bush, it has always been the same feeling," he says. "Listen to me carefully;" he asked me, "the war of November 54 was caused by France, but the present war ..." "Please, stop moving my wounds or those we have caused to millions of Algerians. The Algerian people do not deserve what we have done."
  
  For his part, Boualem Heloui, 32, a native of Tizi Ouzou, tells us about the First of November that "it is the symbol of the revolution. On this day we have a different feeling, a sort of mixture of sadness and joy at the same time," he said. "What saddens me most is the war between the Algerians and us, as terrorists, we have participated in it. We are so sad today and we deeply regret what we've done."
  
  Daïdeche Hamdane, 39, residing in Corso in the province of Boumerdes, has spent eleven years in the bush. He joined terrorist groups in 1992 and has repented in 2003. "Honestly, I believe in the Algerian revolution of 54 and in what the Mujahideen and the Martyrs have done and paid as a price for our freedom."

  The repentant Abderrezak, aka Mosaab, who activated in "Saryate Ben Zerga”, within “Katibet El-Feth" in Boumerdes, tells us that national feasts, including the first of November was somehow a stimulus for the resurgence of terrorist acts and suicide operations. "The terrorist organization programs the largest number of terrorist operations against the regime and the security services during this period," he says.
  
  According to Abderrezak (Mosaab) in his interview with Ennahar, the anniversary of the outbreak of war in Algeria was for him and his acolytes the opportunity to commit terrorist attacks and suicide operations that have greater media impact and causes destabilization of the combined forces of security.

  According to security experts, the upsurge of terrorist acts during times of national and religious feasts aimed to disrupt them. Terrorist groups make all their possible so that such acts are committed in these periods because of their media impact.

The security services have managed to thwart the evil plans of Droukdal which aimed the capital during the celebration of Independence and Youth Day. The attacks were planned by the terrorist “Houdeifa Abu Yunis”, Emir of the second region. The terrorist organization, while becoming "Al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb", has insisted that suicide attacks were committed on 11 which coincides with September 11, 2001 in United States of America.
