Celebration of the 55th anniversary of the liberation war

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Sunday at the Palais du Peuple (People’s Palace) here received the greetings of former President Ahmed Benbella, and former President of the High State Council (HCE) Ali Kafi on the 55th anniversary of the outbreak of the national liberation struggle.

• The President also received the greetings of senior state officials, senior officers of the People’s National Army (ANP), government members, several national and historical figures, war veterans, representatives of political parties, civil society, executives of the nation, artistic and sports personalities, and members of the diplomatic body in Algiers.
