A/H1N1 flu: Six new confirmed cases in Algeria

ALGIERS- Six new cases of A/H1N1 influenza have been confirmed Monday by Health Ministry in Algeria, bringing the total number of swine flu cases reported up to date to 98.

  • The swine flu was diagnosed on a 24-year-old foreign national in Algiers, who recently returned from Bombay (India) via Cairo (Egypt), a five-year-old child living in Tizi Ouzou, who recently returned from France, according to the release.

  • The other four cases were reported in Tizi Ouzou and concern young woman and man, aged respectively 20 and 39, and two children aged 7 and 2 years old.
