Bachir Boumaza died Friday in switzerland

Algiers- The mortal remains of the Council of the Nation's former speaker, Bachir Boumaza, who passed away Friday in Switzerland at the age of 82 following a long illness, has arrived on Saturday in Houari-Boumediene international airport of Algiers.

• Speaker of the Council of the Nation Abdelkader Bensalah, Speaker of the People's National Assembly Abdelaziz Ziari, members of the government and companions of the deceased were present at the mortal remains' arrival.

• The mortal remains of Bachir Boumaza is to be brought Sunday morning to the Council of the Nation where a last tribute will be paid to him, the source has announced, adding that the defunct will be buried on the same day at the cemetery of El Alia (Algiers).
